So I just spent the past couple of days in Ft. Myers, Florida for a bachelorette party for one of my best friends and it was a blast!  Living in Ohio, I rarely see the sun until summer time, so it was nice to get some color (a little too much perhaps).  I needed some casual outfits for during the day and this was one of my favorite looks.  I love the boho vibe, and couldn't wait to wear this crochet top I scored at Nordstrom Rack!  I also was lucky enough to showcase a new designer Emily Kauffelt's handmade leather leaf necklace.  It is an amazing statement necklace and she has many other colors and designs on her Etsy shop.  Check out the link above!

Spring is finally here...well kinda.  I still have to wear tights with dresses most of the time, so I am not sure how spring that is.  With all the weddings I am in, I feel like I need a new dress for every event.  So when my friend Kristin's bridal shower was coming up (pictures above), I decided I needed to go shopping.  I fell in LOVE with this dress from Anthropologie. I love long sleeve dresses to begin with, but a long sleeve, NAVY dress,  slimming drop waist, and floral print was really the perfect combo.  And with spring comes the iconic trench coat.  I bought this Michael Kors trench coat years ago and it has so many cool features with the piping and flared sleeves that I continue to wear it each season.  Let's hope this warm weather continues so I can keep busting out my spring floral ensembles!

So one year I swear I will go to Coachella and crowd surf with the best of them, but until then I will just wear my best Coachella inspired outfit each year.  I was in Philadelphia visiting my cousin and we just so happened to stop in the Urban Outfitters store and I ran across this lace frock.  It is so adorable over a plain black maxi, a printed maxi, or even a short dress underneath.  It came in multiple lace patterns, but this was my favorite.  I got this amazing fringe necklace from my friend Kelly for my bday and I thought it matched this outfit pretty perfectly. Anything fringe immediately makes me think Coachella, so this handbag from Steve Madden was a great complement to the rest of the outfit.  Well here's to my first outfit post of the year!  Many more to come :)

A Welcome Back Post featuring Instagram Pics from 2014

So I know it has been a long time since my last post.  Well who am I kidding it has technically been since LAST YEAR.  So 2014 has been a bit more hectic than I expected.  The weather hasn't been real conducive to taking blog pictures on location, but I am determined to get back in the swing of things this Spring.

I have been doing some really fun stuff lately and have some amazing things coming up this year.  I just got back from a trip to Philadelphia to visit my wonderful cousin and her beautiful son Declan to celebrate his 1st bday!  I loved Philly and had so much fun exploring the city, lots of shopping, and visiting some friends at the Free People/Anthropologie/Urban Outfitters home office (that was pretty cool)!

I am in four weddings this year for some of my best friends in the world and just had the first bridal shower this past weekend.  I can't wait to share some of the photos of the rest of the festivities throughout the year.

Last thing to note, I have a decent amount of Instagram photos of my beautiful niece Claire and some of the scrumptious food I have been sampling, which has made me have to work my butt off in the gym twice as much lately.  Enjoy some Insta photos below and I will be back blogging in no time!  Cheers!
